Following the success of the Private Client Section’s first-ever series of webinars in 2009, the Section will be running a second series in 2010, but with one very important and valuable difference – all webinars will be free for members!

There are 10 sessions this year, each providing an hour of CPD, meaning your membership of the Section this year could give you up to 22 hours of free CPD (including the 12 free points you can achieve each year through passing the CPD quiz on each edition of PS magazine).

The sessions will be running from early June to late September, on topics highly relevant to probate and private client practitioners and conducted by lecturers who are acknowledged experts in their fields.

The advantages of these webinars over traditional training courses are many and manifold. You can attend wherever you are in the country, including in rural areas where it can be difficult to access training opportunities. They have been scheduled during lunchtime, so you can attend without eating into your working hours – always a concern for busy practitioners, and even more so in the current climate. And if you find you are unable to see the webinar live, a link will be posted on the Section website and will be kept live for a couple of weeks after the event so you can watch in your own time.

Perhaps most importantly of all for practitioners in the current marketplace, the Private Client Section is offering all sessions free of charge this year, as part of its commitment to providing its members with added value. This means you can get the benefit of up to 10 hours of CPD, led by recognised experts in their field, for no cost.

If you are already a member of the Private Client Section, please log-in to the members area of the website to access the webinar programme and to register.

If you are not a member of the Section, please look at the membership benefits of joining the Section.
