About us
The Private Client Section (formerly the Probate Section) is the oldest representative membership association of the Law Society. Established in 1997, it provides best practice information and support to those working in the fields of wills, financial planning, trusts, tax planning, Court of Protection, care planning and estate administration.
An executive committee is responsible for developing the future strategy of the Section and enhancing services already offered to members.
Find out more about contributing to or advertising in the Private Client Section's magazine, in the e-alert or on the website.
Members of the public wanting assistance finding a solicitor should telephone the Law Society Information Service on 0870 606 6575 or visit www.solicitors-online.com. The Law Society also produces a series of information leaflets in a number of languages. For more details, go to the Members of the Public section of this website.
